I am in Charlottesville, Virginia. Facebook will not load images unless I’m on VPN. Default Xfinity DNS. I see throughout forums I am not the only one with this problem. Did anyone figure out a solution? I don’t care to be on VPN at all times - Google is obnoxious with their verification when opening a fresh session.

Having the same issue here in VA. Same thing occurred about a month ago. Went on for weeks and eventually started working again, but it has started again in the last couple days.
Does not matter who’s DNS is used, images, videos, various meta content will not load.
Have the same problems here in Caroline County Virginia. It appears to be a routing issue on Xfinity’s side.
UPDATE: February 27, 2024, 7pm - Facebook is now loading images without VPN!
Nope, no help from anything on troubleshooting page. Facebook simply does not work on any of my computers - 6+ regardless of browser or OS. My cable modem is in bridge mode connected to a dedicated wifi router that uses default Xfinity DNS. Other sites and Internet access in general have no issues whatsoever. This is only affecting Facebook pages - images are not loading. This is likely some sort of caching or routing issue on your end.
And as I mentioned in the original post, if I connect any of my PCs to VPN (bypassing Xfinity DNS), facebook loads images without any issues on all my computers.
