I’m surprised that with all the issues Ivanti and Fortinet have around SSL VPNs, Microsoft aren’t rushing Entra Private Access into production
It also comes down to licensing/pricing, Microsoft hasn’t so much as hinted what model they will follow and whether they’ll bundle it into any existing M365/Entra SKU’s.
I see it being a paid add-on, and probably not a cheap one. I’d love to be proven wrong.
Have you tried the preview? In my testing it was currently super buggy.
Oh yeah same, and I don’t want them to rush into it, but they’ve gotta be thinking they could take advantage of the issues.
That still wouldn’t stop MS pushing it out. We have probably a simpler use case, file shares and RDP connections but it seemed fine.
Though I tried Tailscale for a a bit and it seems superior in every way
My issue was it was 50/50 if I would have any networking (no internet either) after resuming from stand by. The agent would just lock up and you had to kill the process.
If the preview works for you then use it, whats stopping you?
My company tried Cato Networks and loved it, Lightyears ahead.
We might have that opportunity now with Ivanti and their issues…
I’d hope so they’re incredibly expensive
Still cheaper than fortinet and far more mature.
I guess define mature, they’re a newer company. Give them a few years.
My bad, I was trying to say that cato is more secure
