We just installed a Vilo mesh network and we’re getting good coverage and speeds. However we are experiencing one very crippling issue. We need to use Pulse Secure VPN client to connect to work. When connected to the VPN, speeds go from 200mb/s to 1mb/s. Disconnect from the VPN and speeds jump back up to normal.
I notice the Vilo network is using a .58 subnet instead of the typical .1. I’m not sure if my work is also using that subnet which may be causing issues? Is there a way to change the subnet the Vilo uses? Any other ideas what may be causing the problem?
Thanks for reaching out! This is a known issue with VPN that we’re investigating. We currently don’t support changing subnet, but are actively working on developing this feature and plan to push to our beta testers soon. We will keep you posted once we have more definitive answers!
Thank you for the response and glad to hear it’s on the radar. Is there a time table for this feature? This may be a deal breaker for us though - work for us is pushing remote work via VPN for security.
