I took tiktok off my phone two days ago and when I went to put it back on. no luck. I thought we had 90 days but nope. its gone from the apple app store.

i downloaded a vpn and set it to canada and changed my app store to canada under a canadian address i generated online and got it back lol

bytedance has 90 days to sell. They weren’t forced to shut down the app, just the app stores had to remove it. Shutting it down was their idea, not due to the ban itself.

Cause people are stupid! 
I constantly delete TikTok just bc I don’t like to use it much and want it off my phone. I wasn’t aware it would be an AppStore issue and I even used it the next day, was on it too long and decided to delete it and immediately realized that I couldn’t get it back. It’s whatever but not everyone knew about what would happen before it happened.
It makes you cancel your Apple care and music subscription in order to switch countries in the App Store.
Not really - 1) it’s a 75 day executive order of non enforcement. The 90 day built in extension is different 2)Google & Apple have said they don’t care about the EO, unless the ban is overturned or a deal is made they are going by the law. They did not have to remove it, that was their idea & is due to the ban itself.
