Does Proton Pass come with SimpleLogin Premium?

I’m trying to figure out whether the new $1/month standalone Proton Pass subscription comes with SimpleLogin Premium, but I can’t test it myself since I have Proton Unlimited already…

If anyone buys the new Proton Pass subscription, then log in with Proton on https://app.simplelogin.io/auth/login and check if it gives you premium automatically, I’d appreciate it if you’d report back. Could be a good way to save $18/year

Hi! The Proton Pass paid subscription comes with an unlimited aliases in Pass, but doesn’t grant you access to the premium SimpleLogin features.

I’m a little confused what exactly you’re getting at. If you have Proton Unlimited then you don’t need to pay for SimpleLogin or Proton Pass (or Proton VPN or Drive). And of course, with Unlimited you have premium Proton Mail email. If you ask me, Proton Unlimited is a fantastic bargain especially since the Proton services and features will only continue to expand and improve.

As for Proton Pass having SimpleLogin premium, I highly doubt it. Proton Pass does utilize some of the same features as SimpleLogin but not yet to the same extent. SimpleLogin is still ahead in the email aliasing aspect, but I believe eventually Proton Pass will share all the same aliasing benefit as SimpleLogin

Looking at my account… I have simplelogin premium and its given me proton pass plus…

More info:

hmm. well, that’s a good option if you actually don’t use the other apps like the vpn and drive. but like you said. that’s an interesting question that I would also like to know but given that ‘Unlimited aliases’ is only available in the paid SL plan. It is probably safe to assume that we also get the premium? we just need some clarification for this.

Sorry for asking, a newbie question … but I am completely new to Proton services.

I subscribed to Proton Pass (not knowing of SimpleLogin) in hopes to create alias emails that would forward to 3 different accounts (for personal, social and shared things).

Ideally, I’d want the passwords for all these (aliased) accounts to be stored centrally for use instead of carrying a portable copy of KeePass and DB.

Does this mean had subscribed to SimpleLogin Premium (instead of Proton Pass) … I would have had SimpleLogin Premium AND the Proton Pass features?

Thanks for any clarity you can provide.

Hey guys, I appreciate if you can help me. Is there any way that I can migrate completely all of my info from simple login to proton pass?

Also, I have another question. In proton email, unlimited, there is this option: 15 email addresses. I want to know if the inbox of these addresses are same or they are separate. Because I need some Aliases but not with random characters in it same as simple login. I want to know how to achieve this?

I’m just trying to find out if you can get SimpleLogin Premium included with the paid Proton Pass plan, that’s all. I’m 90% sure you do in fact get upgraded to SL Premium when you link a paid Proton Pass account, but I’m hoping to find someone who can try it and confirm that’s the case.

I’m aware that the paid Proton Pass plan has features which are similar to SimpleLogin Premium, but it’s unclear whether it actually is SimpleLogin Premium behind the scenes, and whether paid Proton Pass users have the choice to use either Pass or SL, or if they have to use the Pass extension exclusively to create unlimited aliases.

Same here, I have SL premium and it says “Pass Plus via SimpleLogin” in my Proton Pass app profile page. I wonder that is this a trial or an actual offer🤔

Yes, I’ve heard people saying that if you are subscribed to SimpleLogin Premium, you get Proton Pass Plus for free: https://discuss.techlore.tech/t/good-news-proton-pass-plus-free-with-simplelogin-premium/4569

If you subscribe to Proton Pass Plus, you do not get SimpleLogin Premium for free: https://www.reddit.com/r/Simplelogin/comments/14mmu0w/comment/jqm3b16/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

I don’t know why they chose to do it this way, but that seems to be how it works.

So … I’ve just signed up/subscribed to SimpleLogin Premium … and I can absolutely say, that my Proton Pass says “Trial” and not “Pass Plus via Simple Login”.

I’ve attempted the “unlink account” and then relinked my SimpleLogin in the “Connect with Proton” section but it still says “Free Trial” when looking at the settings for Proton Pass.

Am I doing something wrong?

This has got to be one of the most frustrating attempts to (properly) sign up for a service. :facepalm

I just asked proton support about this and they said Proton pass plus are not included with simple login premium. There was a short period of time when this offer was available. Kinda sucks I guess. So simple login premium doesn’t include Proton Pass plus.

damn … guess this is one of those instances where I shouldn’t have been so thorough/carful with the research … lol

I hope that means those who DID get in early enough got to keep the Proton Pass service.

thanks for the update cause I still didn’t get a response from the support ticket I had sent in.
