so for example ProtonVPN is set to only split tunnel Qbittorrent. but when i go to connect the whole pc loses internet until it connects to the VPN server.
is this expected behaviour or is it weird?
This should not be the case.
Are you getting any error messages in the process?
Do you have other VPNs and/or antivirus software installed on your device?

I haven’t noticed any errors, I am using avast antivirus on the PC
