Connecting mullvad to ps5 using hotspot or Lan

I know some VPNs run into the problem of not being able to connect to ps5 with those 2 methods
is mullvad the same?

I know for sure that you can hotspot your connection with a windows pc and also pass the hotspot traffic via the vpn . This will work for you, I think the sharing thing is on hotspot adapter settings

Put mullvad on your router instead
