Out of curiosity, can these accounts interact with NA? Does this include store sold skins? Can these accounts somehow flood a hole in the Overwatch account market? I’m just curious how this works out and if this means we’ll see an influx of Chinese smurf accounts in the NA region.

I know, people are all like “well you could play, they couldn’t, that’s why” but still, that much content ? Considering how highly priced it is ? We ALL know that if other servers got down for X months they wouldn’t give a shit. Heck they care so little they barely fix existing skins.
I’m just mad that they’re considering all this virtual stuff super mega precious all year round, with fake shitty discounts and all, as if each one of them was crafted from the most precious and expensive materials (which is not, they don’t even give a shit like the omnic skins they made don’t even have a robot voice filter… even if they’re overpriced at 19€), but for Chinese players it’s suddenly all free, worthless and just a bunch of pixels they can duplicate indefinitely. I’d like to see a timeline where Blizzard even starts to fix bugged skins before giving us ones for free, and where cool skins are not overpriced. Cause 19€ for a fucking skin is ludicrous, especially when it’s just a recolour of an existing one.
Also, I’ve yet to see a way to unlock stuff from past battle passes. Even though I was playing OW back then, I absolutely didn’t understand how the BP worked because it was a stupid awful mess. Now I’m stuck, I can’t get the stuff I want. Oh, that’s right : that’s none of blizzard’s problems, despite being the very reason I didn’t use the battle pass (before they reworked it). But I guess only Chinese players are worth the effort of unlocking past battle pass stuff, huh.

Just as an FWI, “mainland China” is language used by the CCP and Pro-Chinese Imperialists who claim ownership over Taiwan. They call it “mainland” to mean “China but not Taiwan”. This makes no sense since Taiwan is inarguably an independent country and not a region of China. It’s not “Mainland” China, it’s just China.

For the people asking if they can also receive these, no you can’t. China is an excellent source of whales for MTX farming incase you were deluding yourself that anyone at Blizz still cares about the game.
You’re playing what is now a basic, one-of-many, whale farm FPS and you deserve it.
Unless you’ve managed to play and spend no money at all, in which case the company literally couldn’t care less about your existence lol.
