Can't connect to cellular with warp+ in Turkey

Hi

I use wireguard i can connect to warp+ with wifi but on vodafone cellular it doesn’t get any data. It doesn’t work.

What should i do?

So the situation with Cloudflare in Turkey is a rather complex one. Because the government does enforce limited censorship on their national Internet segment (including mobile networks). And Cloudflare has a policy of complying with local laws (as they deem reasonable), but as I understand that work has been rather slow because the government is very twitchy about Cloudflare’s Zero Trust stuff. So it doesn’t always work right in Turkey. The fact that you can connect over wifi is really interesting. They did hire a new guy and put Turkey into the Middle East business unit to kindof work with that. I have a friend going to Turkey myself, and I asked some Cloudflare friends about it. They are aware of the bizzare situation there. If you do need a VPN in Turkey, I suggest reaching out to the Tailscale bros (r/tailscale). Super nice guys. And they are known for putting Tailscale exit nodes in places like Amsterdam for this purpose. Wish I had better information for you.

thank you for your reply. I can use it on 1.1.1.1 app with Warp+ but can’t use it on wireguard. How this happens?
Btw can i use warp+ with tailscale?

So maybe you’re a little confused about what Warp is. It’s a VPN client. Just like Wireguard is. You really can’t run a VPN within a VPN. It just doesn’t work, especially with Cloudflare. So no, you don’t use warp with tailscale, because tailscale is also a VPN. So, that being said. Like I said, the situation with Cloudflare in Turkey is complex. So if you do need a VPN, go reach out to the Tailscale people. They are really super nice guys and they do have Tailnets setup for people specifically in countries like Turkey.

I don’t think it’s a vpn…It doesn’t change my location, it’s just changing dns

Nah. There’s nobody in particular. They’re all nice guys and will help you out. Us Cloudflare bros really like those guys. Cloudflare is a free-speech company, so I know they’re working really hard to get their stuff into Turkey in a good way.
