I use CyberGhost its nice but one small downside is that it does not have as may locations

I’ve been a customer of NordVPN for years now. Mainly due to the reason you mentioned: privacy at all levels, decent speeds, and a range of servers to choose from. I never thought I would, but since they removed port forwarding recently, I had to get an additional subscription for AirVPN to use port forwarding for one specific use case. For everything else, I stick with NordVPN.

Proton is a great alternative. You have access to VPN, Mail, Storage, and Password manager for the price of 7/8 euros per month. It has a very good reputation and is Swiss-based. If you only need a VPN, a very good alternative is NordVPN. You can pay in crypto and also by sending money by mail. It costs 5 USD per month. I used to use this before I switched to Proton.

Try Planet VPN.
I use their chrome extension for casual browsing.
The biggest thing I love is that no registration is required and there is no limit on speed and traffic.
