i got you! but why is this happening since wipe? could it be cause of some change they made to their servers?

Could be any number of things, and honestly it could even be outside of their control.
so nothing i could do? 
If it works, use the vpn.
its works ingame but the menu and the flea market is laggy as hell - ingame it feels like i have no input lag anymore compared to without vpn… its realy confusing 
thats because flea and inventory is using another server (probably those servers are in russia ) and you using VPN might be even making it worse if you have better route to flea server in non-vpned connection. You might also try a different VPN endpoint (for example Poland with east europe connection in launcher) might be helpful in that situation
basically it reduces packet loss but increases ping. Try manipulating the servers chosen for your game.
