This morning I tried to use my phone and it wasn’t connecting to my house’s Wifi network or even using my cellular data, I restarted it maybe 15 times in the span of three hours, reset the network settings, in general just anything that I could try, I tried.
As a desperate measure, I deleted a VPN app I had, and just like that the phone was able to connect to Wifi networks again. So now I’m wondering if the VPN was somehow messing with the phone?

Yes, also if you have VPN active before resetting and transfer to new phone it can affect to connect to WIFi it happen to me , disconnect from the vpn helps
My VPN will often stop the internet connection from working. I usually cycle the VPN off and then on again and the internet will just start working again. Don’t know if it’s the VPN I’m using, VPNS in general, or iOS causing the issue but it does happen regularly.
