It’s a feature I really like on android, where it can be easily enabled. Is there any way to enable such a killswitch feature on the chromebook yet? I heard it was coming around 71 or 72, but I’m not seeing it on stable at this point.
there is an option in the chrome-side VPN settings to only allow connections with this VPN.
It does not work reliably for me though.
Often it will just block any internet connection - or just let through android traffic… Maybe it’s doing its job, but then what’s the point if the VPN won’t reconnect by itself reliably.
If you delete your android VPN with this enabled, your chromebook will not be able to ever connect to any network until you get your android VPN installed again… Had fun figuring a way around that one (diable arc-vpn integration in chrome flags to get a network connection back).
VPNs on crOS unfortunately suck.
