I’m using the nordvpn free trial right now. Works good for streaming netflix in south korea ^_^, says they have no logging on their site which i guess means they can’t keep track of you? Not quite sure how it works exactly.
NordVPN, Windscribe and ExpressVPN ( limited US servers) all work and I’ve tested. Best thing to do is try them all and see what works best for you for your budget.
Most of the VPN in the market will do the task for you, but then, if you are going to purchase why not go for the best at a reasonable price and unlimited data. I have been using VPN Unlimited for 7 months now. Before that, I used NordVPN and Tunnel Bear, but VPN Unlimited is far superior to those. I like torrenting and need unlimited data, this software has a specific feature for torrenting and media streaming. It’s fast and you do not feel like you are using a VPN, everything is so natural.
Some other features of the VPN are Privacy Protection, Advanced Security, Access to Elusive Content, VPN Servers for Torrenting, Over 400 servers in 70+ locations, Kill switch technology, No-log policy, and IKEv2 and OpenVPN protocols.
Don’t buy express like I just did. Everyone who recommended it, lied. I tried every country and only getting Netflix originals. They blocked every ip. Wasted $20 on that terrible vpn. Idk ab nord
Signed up for the 6 month plan and I’m having some issues. For one, not very user friendly compared to other VPN services, but that’s no big deal. The bigger issues are that the available servers are inconsistent in their functionality. For example, I can’t connect to Russia at all. Australia works fine and shows my location in Australia and the available content on netflix is different from the US, but Sweeden’s server connects but shows my location as Kansas US and it’s the American selections on netflix.
Next issue, it says it works with Hulu, netflix, and Amazon Prime video, but so far the only one I can get to work is netflix. Hulu loads, but doesn’t give the option to play any content, just shows descriptions.
Next is the speed issue.
Sweeden (showing me in Kansas) has early 2000’s up and downloads
5.65
Mbps download
6.01
Mbps upload
The Australian server is even worse
5.43
Mbps download
1.64
Mbps upload
I’m on a 150mbps connection so these speeds are terrible, especially for downloading. Am I doing something wrong here?
I love it personally, all of the different server types and location options are very helpful for what I’ve used it for. I split the cost of a 2 year plan with 2 other people (6 devices are allowed at once so 2/person), which brought the cost down a lot. It’s up to you if the cost is worth it, but it’s the best vpn I’ve ever used.
Scratch that, Netflix Sweeden doesn’t work either. Shows available selections, but when attempting to play anything it says that they detect I’m using a VPN and it won’t let me play anything.
