im about to get crunchryoll premium, is using a vpn to view content outside of my country allowed, is it legal, will it get my account terminated and therefore lose me money.
They don’t allow it, but you can totally use one. However, they have the right to remove your account and your access to the service since you’re violating their terms.
The first step is not to tell people that you’re using a vpn
When I last reviewed the terms and conditions, there was no specific mention regarding the use of VPNs. For those asserting that it’s against the terms and conditions, I would appreciate proof. The last time I checked, there was no specific mention of it.
If Crunchyroll was to ban everyone that has ever used a VPN… They wouldn’t exactly have much of a customer base left.
You’ll be fine
Yes vpns are allowed nordvpn best for it - https://www.reddit.com/r/TheVpnEng/s/sTeAgLKAjn
I’m in the states. Want to use my nord vpn to put my ip address in Colombia. Will it work?
When I was in the Philippines for about a month I had no problem using Crunchyroll through ExpressVPN.
I’ve watched over 800 episodes of one piece using vpn and I’ve had no issues whatsoever
Not exclusively prohibit it, but some of them won’t work and or unstable.
The Website detects our VPN and denies access
Man, are all other stream services like this? I always thought vpns were alright since you are paying for the von yourself.
well you say i can totally use one but they can remove my account
considering if after spending 60 pounds i lost it all i would be very upset. do you recommend i steer clear for that reason?
Maybe this?
Forge any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information or alter source-identifying information when using the Site or Services or in any way use the Site or Services to send altered, deceptive or false source-identifying information, and we reserve the right to block IP addresses or networks deemed to abuse access to the Site or Services;
Just need a different one.
Because you’re technically bypassing the licensing agreements they have per region.
No, Crunchyroll is one of the more lenient one and not outright banning or blocking access like Netflix.
Well, see what’s available on Crunchyroll in your region. Also see what is available on other services. I personally have never heard of people losing their accounts because of vpn use, but they definitely have the right to remove your account for violating their terms. It’s your call.
The chances of them removing your account is very unlikely. Unless you’re sharing your account with 20 other people and constantly switches locations every time you use it, you’ll be fine.
when you’re watching a YouTube video, an their sponsor is a vpn, and they literally advertise doing this tho
